While we don’t think about it often, the most important appliance in your home needs service.  Most manufactures recommend yearly service to keep the warranty valid. We do a 29-point check and most importantly check for internal water leaks. Today’s condensing furnaces are full of water. We find furnaces that have yearly maintenance rarely break down, especially in the cold Alberta winters. 

We run the unit through its proper operation and verify all functions are like the factory set and designed them. We check for water leaks inside and out side the unit,  and check all safety features of the unit. We lubricate any necessary parts and check gas pressures.

Repairs can run from $300 to $2000, while that is ball-park amount, there are many different parts for different furnaces. We stock the most common parts in our vans and warehouse. We charge a diagnostic trip charge and go over any additional repair cost before proceeding with the repair. You will always know the cost before we perform any work. 

All manufacturers recommend yearly service on all furnaces and air conditioners. They run hard all year keeping you comfortable and things can fall out of calibration and parts can get dirty and wear out. Our customers that do yearly service rarely have emergency situations with no heat or no cool.
