Furnace Family Terms & Conditions

Family Membership – HVAC

To ensure the validity of this agreement, the customer agrees to:

  • Operate the equipment according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

  • Use Furnace Family as the sole provider of service for the covered equipment. We do not reimburse for work completed by third parties.

  • Notify Furnace Family promptly of any issues that affect equipment operation.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the filter system to ensure proper airflow. A plugged filter is not covered under this plan and may void both the plan and the equipment warranty.

General Terms

  • Furnace Family will determine the most appropriate method for performing repairs and service.

  • Coverage applies to single-family homes only.

  • Applies only to Worry Free Plans, which include a calendar-year repair limit of $1,500. Units requiring that level of repair typically require replacement.

  • Furnace Family reserves the right to discontinue the plan at any time. If a refund is owed, it will be issued within 15 days.

  • If repairs are not economically feasible and replacement is required, Furnace Family technicians will determine this and communicate it to the customer. In some cases, parts may be obsolete, leaving replacement as the only option.

  • Our goal is same‑day service; however, during peak demand, wait times may occur. Members are prioritized.

Parts and Repairs Excluded

The following are not covered under this membership:

  • Filters, UV lights, humidifier pads, and other routine maintenance consumables

  • Heat exchangers

  • Repairs due to manufacturer recalls

  • Repairs caused by abuse, theft, flooding, storms, freezing, or other natural events

  • Compressors and evaporator coils

  • Non-basic thermostats (e.g., Nest, Ecobee, Lennox S30)

  • Electrical wiring and breakers

Billing & Payment

  • You agree to pay the amount and frequency stated in your chosen plan.

  • Monthly payments may be made by Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. All payments are processed on the 15th of each month.

  • Returned payments are subject to a $50 processing fee.

  • Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

  • Overdue accounts may be refused service.

Coverage Period

  • Membership begins once Furnace Family accepts the agreement, completes an inspection, and verifies that the equipment is in good working condition.
  • A 21‑day waiting period applies from the agreement date before coverage becomes active.

  • Equipment older than 20 years may not be accepted or renewed due to end-of-life considerations.

  • The plan is a 12‑month term, billed monthly. Cancellation before the anniversary date requires payment of the remaining balance for the full annual term.

  • Membership automatically renews each year.

  • You may cancel at any time by providing written notice and settling the account for the annual term. Written notice must be received 15 days prior to cancellation.

  • If you move, the plan remains valid for the new homeowner until the end of the current annual term.

Personal Information

We collect personal information solely to manage our business relationship with our customers. Your information will never be sold or released. We value your privacy.
